IMD Sydney 2011
« on: August 28, 2011, 06:53:43 PM »
Hi All,
I don't post much these days but thought to pop my head in to see if there were any plans
for IMD this year.

I did find this event somewhere http://kiama-car-rally.blogspot.com/ which is a Vintage Car
Rally set up as not-for-profit for local charities.

I thought this would be a good day- allow a bit of coastal driving and a bit of a display after
the drive. It is also a nice drive from out west down to Kiama.

Its basically a 9am kick off down there so a rather early start but I am certainly keen and interested.

We can register online which I will be doing as soon as my roster is confirmed and hope to be
joined by a few other members. I might even crack out the Trailer for this one.

Please register your interest or PM me.

Happy to hear other suggestions too.

Thanks
Samm

Sounds great! I am in the relay for life on the 24th and 25th....bummer. Keep me posted with the plans and I'll see what I can do.

Regardless, I'll try and get out for a run, even if it's only for 15min.

Thats great dacjac!
Hopefully we can get a few mokers there.

Bummer Ian, what are you doing over the two days? Maybe we can work in
something. I was thinking about heading down on the Saturday and staying
the night somewhere close.

I'd heard of this event....had ruled it out though as it states that it is for pre-1980 vehicles.....

Mokes all clean and ready to go.
I'll see you there in the morning.

What OV (read: boring vehicle) should I look out for if you
decide not to moke it?

Aim to arrive between 0800-0830.
