Actually, Dean and I were discussing the 2 day border run, unfortunatelly it will rule a few people out who can only do a 1 dayer.

CQ Pete had sugested a run he had in mind, from memory it was Beaudesert, Tamborine, Coast for lunch.

Found it - this was CQ's sugestion

How about trip via beaudesert to mr tambourine then across to coast for lunch. Drive north along the coast get a coffee along the way, maybe walk to king island if the tides are right.

Hi again
Meant to get more specific. Is it still Beaudesert, Tambourine, Coast etc?? That sounds perfect to us for a day run. Where do we all meet? Is there a central spot in Beaudesert (Woolies Carpark perhaps?) or somehwere outside Beaudesert (eg Jimboomba or South McLean on Mt Lindesay Hwy or Ormeau on Pacific Hwy)?
Cheers

As some of you know we'll be heading to the Gold Coast on IMD and hopefully we might catch
you guys somewhere.

What time do you think you'll be in Beaudesert? If my plans go to um, plan then we might be able to get
to Beaudesert at maybe lunch time or a bit after.

I'm working out times using Google so not sure how accurate they are.

why not meet at beaudesert and drive up duck creek road to oriellys and then on to the gold coast via canungra, beechmont and springbrook through mudgeeraba then to the spit for and arvo lunch. it would be a long day but fantastic fun

That would be a good run Crazy, but as you say a big day out.
I think CQ is planning something more to the North.

We did Duck Creek Road last year and it was heaps of fun.  Might put a few people off with their "recently restored" mokes though.

Best bit was the 4x4 that pulled up coming the other way.

"No"

No, I wasn't aware of that, someone kept that quiet.
Are you just passing through or staying more than a day in this area Andrew?
